III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Refuse Piles <br />There have not been any recent additions to the West Ridge waste pile. Both the West Ridge waste pile <br />and the old waste pile were well vegetated. No signs of structural or erosional instability were <br />observed. <br />Records <br />All of the records were found to be in compliance. Please refer to the attached records checklist. <br />However, the operator needs to consolidate the records for the Bowie No. 1 1vline. Presently, the permit <br />application and the old filing is at the Bowie No. 1 mine site, where there are no mine office personnel <br />present.
