Mineral beneficiation or processing, leaching, chemical extraction, <br /> heating, roasting, bacterial treatment, associated material management <br /> (e.g., spent ore management, ore stockpiles, byproduct management), <br /> and associated structures, reclamation of disturbed areas, and demolition <br /> of mining-related structures. REVIEW PROCESS for a PUD in the CCMOD for mining. <br /> 3.1 Pre-application meeting - At least 20 calendar days prior to the planned <br /> submission of an application for approval of a PUD, the application will be <br /> outlined and discussed with the Teller County Planning Department in a manner <br /> to enable the Department to identify the materials that the County will need to <br /> review in order to review the submittal for compliance under these regulations. <br /> No later than at this meeting, the applicant shall provide a description of the <br /> proposed mineral extraction and recovery technology that allows the County to <br /> identify any substantial differences in technology that are planned to be included <br /> in the new PUD for which additional information is desired. <br /> 3.2 Submittal deadline is 60 calendar days prior to the Planning Commission <br /> hearing. <br /> 3.3 Staff will notify the applicant of the completeness of the application within 14 <br /> calendar days of submittal. The standard used to judge completeness is one of <br /> whether the information submitted provides a basis for Teller County to judge <br /> adequacy and future compliance. If the application is deemed not complete, <br /> Teller County will inform the applicant of the missing information. Completeness <br /> does not mean adequacy and does not mean that additional information may not <br /> be required after the application is deemed complete. The application will not be <br /> scheduled for hearings until the application is deemed complete. <br /> 3.4 Staff sends notice of application to review agencies, listed in Table 4 of the Land <br /> Use Regulations, at least 30 calendar days prior to Planning Commission <br /> hearing. <br /> CCMOD - Effective May 25, 2000 3 <br />
