Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DMG. Jim Lynn of Park County
Road and Bridge was contacted regarding the inspection, but was unable to attend. Weather at the
time of the inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 75 degrees.
2. An appropriate sign is posted at the mine entrance. The boundaries at the site, however, are not
marked, which hindered the inspection of the site due to the inability to isolate the disturbance in the
area related to this mining operation (See Problem 1, Page 3 of this report).
3. Disturbance at the site consists of an excavated area and numerous stockpiles. There is a mall amount
of junk located to the east of the excavation. A small highwall is located on the west side of the
excavated area. It was unclear whether any of the stockpiled material was topsoil reserved for
reclamation. If any of the stockpiles did consist of reserved topsoil, none of the stockpiles were
vegetated. (See Problem 2, Page 3 of this report).
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Jim Lvnn
OPERATOR: Park County Road and Bridge
STREET: P r~ Rox 147
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Fnirplny, C(7 Rn44n
Cc: ^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD (CH)
^ SE
^ WOCD (CH)
X Other: Harry Posey, DMG
