Both the 3/6/95 inspection and a <br />previous inspection on 5/13/99 were conducted in response to several citizen complaints from <br />nearby we]il owners. The monitoring plan specified that six (6) existing wells will be <br />monitored Ion a monthly basis from Aug. `95 to Aug. '96 and will be monitored quartely <br />thereafter untj.l mining activities cease at this site. To date, the Division has received <br />~oni[oring data for four (9) weal is for the month of August, 1995. The absence of monitoring <br />data as sp'~cified in tfie monitoring plan and uncertainty of whether the specified monitoring <br />is still in-g4iY.g is considered by the Division to be a problem. Please see page 4 for <br />corrective actions. <br />7. There were no signs or markers posted as required by Rule 3.1.12 (see attached copy). The <br />Pivision consiGlers this matter to be a problem that will require corrective actions.
