seeding this fall planting season.
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE
No map(s) was found that clearly indicated the boundary of areas authorized for disturbance (see Map 24
sheets)[Rules 2.07.7(6) and 2.10.1(1)]. Ways of upgrading the existing maps were discussed during this
inspection. This item was first noted during the inspection of July 12, 2004.
Operations were in compliance with the approved general mine plan. Longwall mining has reached Station
81+00 in the 16R panel (working east to west), and the gateway extended to Station 137+00 in panels 17 and
18, in the vicinity of the proposed 18R ventilation shaft (August mine progress map).
Stoker coal was being hauled out by truck, and coal was being outloaded by rail.
OTHER
Adequacy issues with regard to MR 188 were discussed. Revised pages to the MR 188 application were hand
delivered by Nettleton to Walker.
Revised pages, in response to a Division adequacy letter of June 29, 2004, to the TR 44 application were hand
delivered by Nettleton to Walker.
C-1982-056. CP Inspection of August 12, 2004, Page 6 of 7 pages. BG W
