III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments inGude discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the fads or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />water intake from the Purgatory River was graveled and stable. Ditch D-13 <br />serving Pond #003 has been cleaned out since last month and some equipment <br />was still on site. The area east of pond #003 was mulched, seeded and grass <br />was coming up. Culvert C-14 was Gear and functioning. Pond #004 was <br />recently cleaned and was functioning. Ponds #003 and #004 were nc~t <br />discharging. <br />Rock Dust and Substation Area <br />SAE #8, SAE #4, SAE #14, SAE ill6 and SAE #5 appeared to be stable and <br />nonerosive. The road to the substation was well grades and ditches ~rere Gear <br />Signs and Markers <br />The entrances to the permit areas were signed with a standard sign. During the <br />walk around the perimeter of the disturbed area markers were noted et alt <br />locations. <br />Degas wells <br />Degas wells were accessed through Zamora canyon. The roads were in good <br />condition and culverted drainage crossings were clear and functioning. The <br />following degas wells were inspected. NWT-2, GE-72-94, NW-3-1, GE-69-93, <br />GE-41-89, GE-71-93, GE-73-93, GE-70-93, GE-68-92, GE-74-94.
