General Conmen is <br />The mine was inactive at the time of this complete inppection. Only three or four <br />employees are at the mine during working hours. Dorchester is attempting to sell <br />coal that is being stored on the bench of mine number one. <br />Dorchester Coal Company is presently compiling further responses to the adequacy letter <br />for their fee coal mine. T1~ey ani ti ci pa to tJtat the remainder of the requested infor- <br />mation will be submitted by January - February of 1982. Information is also currently <br />being compiled for the application to mine coal within the recently awarded PRLA. <br />The drilling program for the PRLA block is complete. Drill pads are being reclaimed <br />and seeded with a mixture of Russian [Jildrye, F/estern [~heatgrass and Indian Ricegrass. <br />Dorchester will supply the Division with a copy of the completed drill hole abandonment <br />papers as they are submitted to the Federal Agencies. <br />A minor amount of precipitation was received at the mine within the past week. Small, <br />shallow puddles were visible in low lying areas but the ground was mostly dry. <br />During this inspection permit documents and monitoring records were examined in the office. <br />The permit document, application, groundwater monitoring records and surface watering <br />records were on file at the main office in Grand Junction. Copies of the permit and <br />application were also available at the mine site. <br />
