•' <br />Because you apparently did not believe Kay when she stated that <br />the ditch adjacent to the north fenceline preceded the mining <br />disturbance, the removal of said ditch will be evaluated during a June <br />14 visit to the property. The settlement crack will also be evaluated <br />at that time as it was not pointed out to Kay during the inspection. A <br />vegetation survey of the reclaimed area will be conducted by Warren <br />Keammerer in August, the results of which will be submitted to the <br />Division as required. <br />The site of the yard has been cleared of all debris and the oil <br />trap has been sealed to prevent ground or surface water contamination. <br />I hope this letter has clarified Walden Coal Company's position on <br />the issues addressed in your inspection report. If you require further <br />clarification on any of the issues, please do not hesitate to contact <br />me.
