Terror Creek Coal Co., pg.2 <br />Mr. Boulay conducted a thorough review of the permittee's permit, operating, and monitoring <br />records being maintained on the site. The permit term is from August 23, 1993, to August 23, <br />1998, and the DMG is in the process of concluding the mid-term permit review which has been <br />conducted in a timely manner. <br />A bond increase from $ 214,167 to$ 246,755 is being requested through the mid-term review. <br />Liability insurance is current through 7/97. CO/NPDES permit is current through 6/30/97 and the <br />permittee is reminded to apply for NPDES renewal in a timely manner. Sediment pond <br />certification and pond inspection reports were reviewed with no problems noted. Both the <br />NPDES storm water management plan and the spill prevention and control plan are available for <br />review. We discussed updating the haulroad certification in light of recent DMG rule changes <br />concerning haulroad certification procedure.
