Subsidence -continued <br />I examined the images on a computer monitor on 6/3/02. No compliance problems were evident in the images. <br />Less of Fish Creek's white-colored stream channel is visible in photos 5 through 9 than in other photos in the <br />series due, presumably, to drowning of the stream channel resulting from subsidence. Panel 13 Right has caused <br />the water to cover more of the unvegetated stream channel than in un-subsided segments of the creek. (This was <br />directly observed in the field during last month's inspection.) No significant areas of sag ponding are evident in <br />the photos. Subsidence impacts appear significantly less than predicted in the permit, due possibly in part to a <br />relatively dry spring. <br />
