In a letter dated January 18, 2002 from IUSA to Mr. <br />Oswald, a written commitment was made to perform soil remediation at the West <br />Sunday Mine site at the location on the north side of the shop. <br />5. Photo 9 -New Perntit identification sign in place at entrance to West Sunday Mine <br />site. This photo is provided as evidence that Corrective Action 2 in the December 19, <br />2001 Inspection Report for Permit M-1981-021 has been partially completed (Permit <br />boundazies remain to be mazked). <br />St. Jude Mine -Permit 1`A-1978-039 HR <br />1. Photo 10 -New Penmit identification sign in place at entrance to St. Jude Mine site. <br />This photo is provided as evidence that Corrective Action 2 in the December 19, 2001 <br />Inspection Report fc~r Permit M-1978-039 HR has been partially completed (Permit <br />boundazies remain to be marked). <br />Carnation Mine -Permit M-1977-416 <br />1. Photo 14 -North side of Sunday Mine shop after removal of waste oil barrels and <br />change pans. <br />Transport and Disposal of Waste Oil <br />1. Photo 15 - Was[e oil barrels, buckets, and change pans in trailer for transport to <br />White Mesa Mill. <br />2. Photo 16 -Waste oil barrels, buckets, and change pans from mine sites after <br />unloading at the Whire Mesa Mill used oil recycling azea. The light green tank in the <br />center of the photo is the "USED OIL STORAGE" tank. The oil from [he mine sites <br />will be sampled and then placed in the Used Oil Storage tank for subsequent removal <br />by a commercial waste oil recycler. <br />
