• (Page 2) • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-77-392 <br />INSPECTION DATE 05/23/96 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLI( <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The following observations were made during a routine inspection of the 35-acre clay pit. <br />The pit is currently active, with only 2-3 scree of reclamation work done. <br />1. Approximately 27 acres have been disturbed, which ie 7 acres over the maximum allowable <br />disturbed area. Of that disturbance, about 3 acres has been graded, topeoiled, and seeded. <br />The other 24 acres consists of various stripe and exposed highwalle, and bare ground. <br />2. The DMG sign was posted at the gate, and the north and west aide were marked with <br />boundary markers. Markers for the east and south boundary must be placed. <br />3. The south aide of the site ie graded at 2:1 along about 2/3 of its length. Backfilling may <br />be required in order to restore the elope to 3:1 (as required) without going outside the <br />boundaries of the permit area. <br />4. Topsoil stockpiles were measured with a measuring wheel. 2960 CY of topsoil are stored <br />onsite, a deficit of 9950 CY (for 24 scree, covered with 4" of topsoil). Either topsoil must <br />be transported to the site, or a technical revision dealing with the deficit must be <br />submitted within 30 daye. <br />5. The financial warranty will be recalculated based on current site conditions, and a task <br />coat estimate sent to the operator within 14 daye. <br />I & E Contact Addreee cc: Carl B.
