ORIGINAL - PCBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ~~-~ e~~-S~'~ <br />INSPECTION DATE: 'iL7/07 INSPECTOROS INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site to verify the completion of the <br />compaction operation along the Arkansas portion of the North West side of the main pit <br />that is not part of the State Parks Department. With the exception of that portion of the <br />permit area, all others permitted area which includes all the constructed lakes are now <br />part of the State Parks Department. The State Parks Department has placed a sign saying <br />the are now is property of state Parks Department and that no trespassing to the public is <br />allowed. <br />The compaction operation appears to be functioning as designed. With the exception of a <br />small amount of water noted along the South west side, no significant leakage was noted. <br />According to Bill Pop of Transit Mix, they are only pumping about 5 acre feet of water a <br />month, from the pit, which is less than the allowable leakage under the State Engineer <br />Approval. According to Bill the State Engineer as signed off on the project.
