The Long Draw Saddle road is reasonably well-drained, but the culvert at the bottom was
plugged and needs maintenance.
There was active drilling at site 17-05 along the Saddle Spur road.
The pad at 17-06 was very muddy and should be draining into the mudpit according to the
generic designs. Sed control at the culvert outfalls needs maintenance.
On the Draw Spur #1 road, several culverts need cleared of sediment from the recent rains.
On the 16-02 pad there was abundant standing water. The cutslope had been seeded and
mulched very recently.
At the 17-03 pad there was active drilling as a pump had been lost into the drillhole. Pad
appeared muddy, but was so busy that we didn't spend much time.
At site 17-02 (degas holes 17-02 a and 17-02 b) right above Deep Creek. Silt fence had
been installed on the outslope of the disturbance below the pad. This site is extremely steep
with the pad (essentially an extension of the road) cut into the steep slope. The mud pit had
been dried and filled; earthwork was completed on that portion, but the reseeding had not
yet been accomplished.
At Site 15-01 a and b, half the pad was reclaimed. Pumps were shut down but still on the
pad. There was good emergence of recently-seeded grasses.
