' '• ~`~iF _ ~ ,, . <br />The road to site 24-04 rises steeply in a couple places where run-off drained through the <br />berm on the outslope. MCC should consider some silt retention measures there. <br />Degas pad for 23-03 a has been reclaimed; the earthwork is good. Vegetation is fair, but <br />not as good as sites at higher elevations. <br />Location RAV-10 contains wells 14-04 and 15-04, from which pumps are running; the <br />pumps are fenced as required. Vegetation is decent despite heavy grazing by cattle. <br />At a couple locations the road traverses near or through riparian areas. MCC should consult <br />with the USFS concerning placement of gravel on the road in these areas as required by the <br />USFS right-of-entry stipulations. <br />The road was taken to Site 17-04. This pad should be reclaimed right away; the mudpit <br />must be filled and reclaimed, as it is no longer in use. The spur road is very poorly drained. <br />Water should be drained off the road by some manner determined in consultation with the <br />USFS. <br />
