III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. the comments include discussion of observations
made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during
the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
There aze a few maintenance items that need to be taken care of that aze associated with
the train loadout project. There is a section of disturbed azea on the south side of the
disturbed area that is generally to the south of the new Barnes house that could use some
silt fence. An upland diversion berm will, ultimately, need to be constructed on the
upgradient side of the main topsoil stockpile. On the extreme east end of the project azea,
upland diversion ditch D-Hl needs to be extended more to the east. At the western most
disturbance, the silt fence needs to be extended more to the west. Also, the straw bales at
the down gradient end of the conveyor comdor and material storage need to be placed
better. At the main topsoil stockpile, the berm around the temporazy fuel facility tank
needs to be much higher.
c:fms971bowie2/insp0602
