Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection
and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
as future reclamation in the shop vicinity, and reclamation associated with Road "A", the Mine Entrance Road,
the Tie-Across Haul Road, and the various sediment pond locations (upon completion of pond removal or in
association with permanent impoundment modifications if approved).
Fish and Wildlife
Groups of mule deer were observed in various locations. The deer seemed to be moving in response to the
recent weather conditions, possibly migrating to the west to lower elevation habitats.
Reveaetation
Steep topsoiled road slopes in various locations, as well as steep topsoiled spoil and highwall reduction slopes in
upper, southern portions of the 016 drainage basin have not yet been seeded. These areas will need to be
roughened by track-hoe gouging or dozer ripping prior to broadcast seeding, yet this fall. Seeding will be
accomplished by broadcast seeding of the roughened slopes. Operator plans to accomplish as much of the
seeding as possible by aerial seeding with fixed wing aircraft, scheduled for the last week of October.
5
