monitoring wells existing on the Property as of <br />the date of this Agreement. <br />b. Drill and complete test extraction wells; perform <br />aquifer testa, including step-rate and constant- <br />rate pumping tests; and perform monitoring (i.e. <br />collection of water samples and measurement of <br />water levels) and other investigative activities <br />with respect to such test wells. ' <br />c. Drill, complete, and perform monitoring of <br />piezometers associated with each test extraction <br />well. <br />d. Drill, sample, and grout temporary boreholes. <br />Perform other activities related to the subsurface <br />investigation as appropriate, including but not <br />limited to surveying, soil sampling, geophysical <br />logging, temporary water and/or soil storage, <br />fence installation, power installation, and <br />reclamation of surface disturbance. <br />_~ <br /> <br />f. Install and operate a groundwater extraction and <br />treatment system, including but not limited to <br />extraction wells, treatment equipment and <br />building,.pipelines, reinjection and/or <br />infiltration facilities, and any ancillary <br />facilities necessary for the operation and <br />maintenance of the extraction, treatment, and <br />reinjection/infiltration system. <br />2. Schlage shall perform all activities on the <br />Property under this Agreement in a good and workmanlike manner so <br />as not to interfere with Property Owner's use and enjoyment of <br />the Property. At least 21 calendar days prior to commencement of <br />any activity on the Property other than those activities <br />described in paragraph l.a. above, Schlage shall provide Property <br />Owner with a work Plan describing the activity to be performed, <br />and a map or sketch showing the approximate location of any well <br />or other facility to be installed on the Property. At least ~ <br />calendar days prior to the actual drilling, construction, or <br />installation of any well, piezometer, equipment, building, or any <br />other facility on the Property, as described in paragraphs l.b. <br />through l.f. above, Schlage shall provide Property owner with the <br />opportunity to review and approve the location of such well or <br />other facility ae staked or otherwise physically identified on <br />the Property, and Property Owner shall not unreasonably withhold <br />such approval. <br />3. Schlage shall provide Property Owner with no less <br />than three (3) days notice prior to entry onto the Property to <br />conduct any activities under this Agreement.
