III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />screened rock across the surface of the Sylvester Gulch Main Haul/Access Road in an attempt to <br />control fines from entering the stream in Sylvester Gulch. Please continue this practice or take <br />additional measures as necessary to prevent fine particles from entering the stream. <br />The two horizontal drains installed as part of the slope stability project for the facilities azea was <br />inspected. The horizontal drains aze exposed as pipe dischazge/outlet points near the west end of <br />the Silo Pad. A temporary culvert was installed beneath the drill pad used for installation of the <br />drains. The culvert is temporazily being used to direct runoff to the surface ditch that drains to <br />Pond MB-5. According to MCC personnel, the temporary culvert will be removed and the drill <br />pad site will be reclaimed in the neaz future. <br />
