(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-77-251
INSPECTION DATE 05/27/99 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK
OBSERVATIONS
The following observations were made during a routine inspection of the site.
1) The DMG sign is in place as required by the rules; however the boundary markers are not
visible along the western and southern boundaries. This must be remedied. (PB1)
2) The east side of the site is currently suffering from erosion damage due to the recent
storms. This should be graded to drain either into the pit, or into the pre-existing
irrigation ditch just south of the cutting. (PB2)
3) The scarp along the western side appears stable and in no danger of deteriorating, and the
old mine works are still filled and do not appear to be leaking.
4) The water in the runoff pond directly below the scarp is tinged green, either from algae
or local mineral deposits.
5) The topsoil stockpiles appear to be adequate to reclaim the disturbance.
A second inspection will be set up within a month, to confirm that the financial warranty
currently posted is adequate and to measure the size of the disturbance and topsoil
stockpiles.
No other problems were noted at this time.
I & E Contact Address cc
NAME Mark Chalmers
OPERATOR Robinson Brick
STREET 1845 W.
