Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection
and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement acUOn.
This was an OSM Oversight inspection conducted by Kent Gorham and Jim Stark of the
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. Henry Austin of the Office of Surface Mining
(OSM) was also present for the inspection. As part of the 2004 Performance Agreement
between the DMG and the OSM dated April 2004, bond forfeited sites are being reviewed for
potential off-site impacts and comparison to findings from a similar oversight review in 2000.
This site consists of two separate reclaimed areas; a coal IoadouUtipple area and a portal
area, separated by a rocky ridgeline. Ground conditions on this day were dry and all areas
were accessible. The weather was partly cloudy, cool, and breezy.
~', -~
' ~'~
!;
--
::.
"• ~,.
.~:~ .
..
. ~. ,

¢^a~
~~.-.
