COM, Inc.'s crew
estimated that approximately 70-80 repairs were made, ranging in size from
several inches to pinholes.
12/3l/95 -
l/8/96 Heavy 2-3 day snow storms at the beginning and end of this week, plus
high winds in the middle, left 1-2 feet of snow fall and drills on the liner.
To avoid the risk of additional damage to the liner from shoveling, COM,
Inc. let the milder weather during the week of 1/8 melt most of the snow so
that the remainder could be swept off just prior to vacuum testing.
Week of
1/8/96 After investigating several parties, COM, Inc. determined that Colorado
Lining Co. of Parker, Colorado was available and best qualified to perform
the vacuum testing and independent certification of the repairs.
1/16/96 After the heavy snows melted and were removed from the liner, Colorado
Lining Co. began vacuum testing. Colorado Lining Co. determined that the
welds by COM, Inc.'s crew would not pass after testing l0- l5 of them.
eeee~~i mi is
