General Comments <br />This was a regular monthly inspection of the Blue Ribbon mine. The operator had spoiled <br />a considerable amount of material down an undisturbed slope during efforts to improve an <br />existing access road leading to a remote fan facility located approximately 300 yards <br />southeast of the mine bench. In addition, the operator was in the process of replacing <br />the existing IO" PVC drainage pipe Leading from the upper bench to sediment pond N2 with <br />a 10" corrugated metal pipe, and was installing a concrete pad on the mine bench for <br />placement of a new ventilation fan. In the process of removing boulders from this area, <br />several Large rocks had been dumped over the northern edge of the bench into an undisturbed <br />area. <br />
