This letter is in response to your request for our <br />proposal during our July 6, 2004 telephone conversation with Mr. Louie Giroda, Gur comments which <br />arc based on our June 4, 2004 site abservations aze presented in our 3uiy 7, 2004 tatter. Please return e <br />signed copy of this proposal so that we may initiate our study. <br />We are pleased to provide the following proposal to perform the geotechnical engineering study <br />outlined below f'ar the subject project. The scope of services outlined is based on our understanding of <br />the project, your request for ota proposal, and on our experience with simtlar geotechnical engineering <br />studies. <br />This proposal is for a geotechnical engineering slope stability study. The scope of services after <br />our report subrittal outlined below is for an initial study and submittal of our report to you. Additional <br />study and analysis may be necessary based on the review process initiated by the Colorado Depatfinent <br />of Minerals and Geology. Additional services ere available for consultation with you and your design <br />team during the design process and for monitoring the geotechnical engineering aspectc o(your project <br />and materials testing during mitigation construction, The scope of services for our geotechnical <br />engineering study and associated fees are submitted with this proposal. $udgets for additional services <br />which are dependent tm the review process and the design and construction schedules can 6e developed <br />as this project progresses. As the project progresses the budgets can be refined and presented for client <br />review and approved.
