This site was not inspected during this inspection. <br />Topsoil had been stripped from the 18-Right Air Shag road in compliance with the PAP. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />A description of the thickener recycle operational procedure was not found in the PAP. <br />Longwall mining had reached Station 34+00 on 10/22/04 in the 16R panel (working east to west), and the <br />gateway had been extended to Station 35+00 in the 18R gateway. <br />Stoker coal was being hauled out by truck, and coal was being out loaded by truck and rail. <br />The boundary of areas authorized for disturbance are not clearly indicated on maps in the PAP (see Map 24 <br />sheets)[Rules 2.07.7(6) and 2.10.1(] )]. Ways of upgrading the existing map(s) were discussed during <br />subsequent inspections, and work is in progress. This item was first noted during the inspection of July 12, <br />2004. <br />SUBSIDENCE <br />A portion of the lst Half 2004 Subsidence Report that presented an incomplete description of subsidence was <br />brought to the attention of the operator. An amended table to the report was developed during the inspection, <br />and is to be submitted by the operator. <br />EXCESS SPOIL & DEVELOPMENT WASTE <br />Materials excavated in the development of the pit to hold cuttings from the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft are <br />permitted to be stored at the Fish Creek Tipple Area, and development waste cuttings permitted to be stored in <br />the pit.
