Area 41: Stockpond 41a was in good repair. Some downcutting in the ditch upelope of atockpond 41 a
has occurred. This is of limited extent and does not necessitate immediate maintenance. Stockponds
41b and 41c appear in good condition and hold water. Snowbanks are still in evidence upelope of
stockpond 41 c. Stockpond 41d full, discharging cleaz. No problems noted with stockpond 41f,
discharge estimated at >20 gpm. Check dams between stockpond 41 f and 41g are functioning well. No
problems noted with stockpond 41g. Stockpond 41h has considerable flow flowing in yet appears that
water is draining out the bottom of the pond. Water level is not rising in the pond in spite of
considerable snowmelt flowing into the pond. Flow appears to be draining into a spot at the NW corner
of the pond embankment. No seepy areas were noted on the outslope of the embankment. No saturated
areas or spoil springs were observed along flte Northwest facing slope north of stockpond 41h. T}us
area will continue to be visually monitored for evidence of seepage or potential instability. PG41-1
Sec.A is in good condition. No discharge from pond 41h is reaching this portion of the drainage.
A gully leas Formed South east of pond A. This gully is oriented NNW and runs approx. 200 ft. This
feature appears to have formed along a contour furrow and runs perpendicular to the elope. BLrding in
of this feature needs to be enacted se a maintenance repair. Seeding with the approved seed mix of the
bladed segment should occur following this repair.
f€: A herd of approx. 80 elk passed by while inspection was in Area 41. Sharptailed grouse was
flushed up near PG51-1 Sec. A.
