Aftet seeding, the cleared brush will be redistributed over the drill pad area to act as natural
mulch. This method has proven successful for the revegetation of previous drill sites.
6, Newly created access roads will be restored as closely as possible to the original contour and
re-seeded as above. Drill pads and access roads will be reclaimed shortly after the
wmpletion of the drill hole.
7. If constructed, waterbars on new road construction will be left in-place for future erosion
control. All culverts will be removed during the reclamation of the access mutes.
8. The drill pad and access roads reclamation procedure outlined above will apply only to those
areas newly disturbed for this proposed exploration. Existing mods and trails will be left
undisturbed and in a condition equal to or better than that observed up Ark Land Company's
entry into the area. Existing trails will be scarified during reclamation activities to
compensate for compaction and to promote seed gerrnination.
9. After reclamation, newly constructed access roads to certain drill sites may be blocked and
closed to vehicle entry at the USFS or surface owner request. Alternate mad closure methods
may be employed where practical after review with the USFS representative.
Reclamation of the laydown and storage area located at the intersection of USFS roads 710 and
711 will begin once use of the pad is no longer needed to support exploration~rilling activities.
The disturbed acreage is 0.48 acres. As there is a lack of topsoil at the laydown and storage area,
13
