IV. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br />The following identifies enforcement actions taken during this inspection, the required abatement <br />and date of abatement for the violation, previous violations still requiring abatement and the <br />termination of violations cited during previous inspections <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Janet Binns, of Colorado Dive~j i of Minerals and Geology. Mr. <br />Forrest Luke of Trapper Mining Inc accompanied the inspection. cezr~r~„ r~eslicn. The weather <br />was cool and windy with sporadic snow flurries. The snow pack has melted off. The mine site has received <br />approximately 0.015 inch of precipitation in the month of April, according to the operator. The mine is an <br />active surface mine. <br />Roads: LOM haul road was watered during the inspection. Haul roads throughout the mine site remain in <br />good condition. Grading and ditch cleaning had occurred along the main haul roads. Gravel had been <br />placed in some azeas this spring. All roads were dry enough to drive on. Johnson Drainage sump on both <br />south and north sides of the LOM haul road need clean out this construction season. The culvert is <br />approximately'/, to 1/3 filled with sediment. <br />HvdrologSc Balance: <br />Ponds on the northern portion of the mine were inspected: <br />Pond Name NPDES # Condition Maintenance needed <br />Oak #1 017 Holding water to spillway.
