They appeared to be in <br />ood re air. <br />NMD Power Borehole and <br />Substation Sediment control measures were in good repair. <br />NW Mains Ventilation Shaft The SAE sediment control facilities. <br />18-Ri ht Ventilation Shaft Sediment control measures were in ood re air. <br />Haul Road B Sediment tra shad been cleaned. <br /> <br />Points on streams about the permit azea were sampled on November 16, 2005. The results of this sampling are <br />indicated on a map attached to this inspection report. <br />BACKFILL AND GRADING <br />Areas that require backfill and grading aze areas of long-term surface support facilities and underground <br />portals, shafts, and drill holes. No such areas are under reclamation at this time. Demolition and reclamation <br />of the Fish Creek Tipple has been suspended. The CYCC Office building superstructure has been demolished, <br />but the foundation and parking areas remain and there has been no grading of the site. <br />PROCESSING WASTE <br />Coal mine waste was being stored in the waste disposal Area 2 and 2 'h in compliance with the PAP. Snow <br />cover prevented assessment of other work. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />All support facilities appeared to be in good repair. As mentioned under Hydrologic Balance above, all <br />impoundment structures were in good repair. The Fish Creek Tipple structures are in disuse and disrepair, but <br />are programmed for demolition. <br />Power boreholes were being drilled at the 6 North Mains Ventilation Shaft site. A collar frame was being set <br />for digging of the ventilation shaft. The pit for excavated materials had not been constructed. <br />The foundation and floor of the addition to the bathhouse had been complete, and erection of walls had been <br />started. <br />TOPSOIL <br />Topsoil markers were in place. <br />Topsoil had been stripped from the road to, and the work azea of, the 6NW Mains Ventilation Shaft, and had <br />been properly stored. Relocation of 18-Right Ventilation Air Shaft road windrowed topsoil into approved <br />C-1982-056. CC Inspection of November I5, 2005 Page 5 of 7 pages. BGW <br />
