Two <br />road graders were also parked in the office area. This area is a small area exemption and is <br />remains the responsibility of the mine operator to maintain. The operator is encouraged to <br />preclude others from using this area and disturbing drainage and sediment control in this <br />area. The operator may want to consider reclaiming this area and blocking access to others <br />during the revegetation liability period. <br />The service area along the Jeff Canyon Haul Road contains two large tanks and a small <br />amount of mine related equipment. The southern half of the service area has been <br />regraded. This area is also an SAE like the office area. Seeding and mulching of the <br />southern portion should be considered to help stabilize this area- Silt fence or straw bales <br />are necessary on the east side of the service area where drainage leaves the disturbance. <br />The loadout remains unchanged The area has been graded and gently slopes to the north <br />and east. The berm that diverts drainage to pond 10 was found in good condition. <br />Tom. s_o__d <br />The operator should reshape the east end of the large topsoil pile at the loadout. The Swale <br />that separates the fill material belonging to the landowner to the north should also be better <br />defined More topsoil signs along this swale may prevent any unauthorized loss of topsoil <br />belonging to LCC. <br />Revegetation <br />Grasses and fortis on the south-facing reclaimed areas are beginning to sprout due to <br />warming soil temperatures. Heavy grazing by wildlife in these areas is apparent. <br />Excess Spoil <br />Three excess spoil fills were constructed at this site. All three fills appeared in good <br />
