III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made
during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection
and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
Culvert 2A. Please make necessary repairs to this drainage to prevent further erosion from
occurring.
Culverts SSA, ~'3A, 31 A, and 1 ~A will require maintenance in the near future to ensure that they
are functioning as intended. All other culverts site wide were clear of sediment and/or debris and
appeared to be in good working condition. Culvert SSA was full of sediment on both the inter
and outlet sides. The inlet side of Culvert ~4A is crushed and shou]d be repaired. The discharge
end of Culvert 31 A is crushed and does not appear to properly convey discharge. There is a large
hole in the top of Culvert I>A. A portion of the roadway has eroded, and the top of the culvert is
damaged on the inlet side. Please make the necessary repairs to these culverts as soon as weather
allows.
Stockponds T-29, T-28, T-32, T-1 ~, and T-7 were inspected, and all appeared to be functioning
properly. Stockpond T-29 was completely full and was dischazging from the spillway.
Significant erosion has occurred in the channel of the spillway. Additional riprap needs to be
placed in the spillway and the channel needs to be repaired. A significant spring/discharge was
noted at the base of the hill immediately north of the drainage channel, approximately 1 f8 mile
northwest of T-29. Stockpond T-7 contains a large amount of sediment and should be cleaned
out as soon as weather permits good access to the Stockpond.
Tai psotl
Some rills are beginning to form in the Wolf Creek reclaimed azea, specifically on the hillside
west of Stockpond T-29 and on the hillside west and south of Stockpond T-32. Please continue
to monitor erosion in azeas where topsoil has been replaced and implement appropriate measure
to reduce erosion at these locations.
