On December 5, 2006, DRMS reviewed the current cost of reclamation for the Sunnyside
Mine, totaling $60,534. The review was conducted in response to a request submitted by the
Operator on November 27, 2006, and due to the requirements of Rule 4.2.1(4). The
December 5, 2006 reclamation cost estimation was based upon observations made during the
October 2, 2006 inspection and borrowed heavily from DRMS's previous estimation, dated
October 6, 2005. DRMS utilized much of the information from the October 6, 2005 calculation
because the information was sufficiently recent to apply to current conditions.
