These work elements have been completed at Pit A. Backfill with flyash, cover, topsoil and
revegetation is ongoing in Pit B from the south to the north. See the Annual Reclamation Reports
for progressive work.
5. Topsoil
a. How large is the area ahead of the active mining area where topsoil has been removed?
Mining has ceased. There is no azea disturbed ahead of the present pit boundary.
b. What is the approximate area of graded areas where topsoil has not been redistributed?
Approximately 8.3 acres are prepazed to receive topsand at the south end of Pit B.
