November 20,2025 C-1981-019/Colowyo Coal Mine HRI <br /> EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE—Rule 4.09 Placement;Drainage Control; Surface <br /> Stabilization: <br /> The West Taylor Valley Fill area was inspected from above (Photo 14). The slope face was covered with <br /> sagebrush and grassy vegetation. The Division observed no signs of erosion or concerns about instability. <br /> Prism data tracking any slope movement is submitted with Colowyo's quarterly fill inspection report. <br /> Water which flows through the fill's undram and along its side channels eventually flows to the West <br /> Taylor Pond,which was also visible from above at this vantage point(Photo 14). <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> No active highwall mining operations in Collom Pit were observed during this month's inspection. The <br /> Collom Haul Road and therefore Collom Pit is currently blocked off to site traffic.No work is currently <br /> being conducted in this area;therefore,the Collom Pit is not inspected on its usual basis.Access to the <br /> Collom Pit must be requested ahead of time to allow for safe entrance.
