2 Excavation and grading of soil lined areas limited to sufficient regrading to facilitate liner installation, with slopes
not exceeding 3HA V. Area shown in above table limited to disposal cell footprint only (not entire DBMS Mining
Permit Area). Partially excavated areas may be regraded and lined without having to achieve full depth of
excavations shown on plans.
3 Soil liner installation limited to 3-foot-thick compacted clay liner as set forth in landfill permit. Placement of sand
layer not required. Cost assumes on-site clay will be suitable for use as liner material. Estimate assumes entire
landfill footprint within mining permit requires liner.
4 Construction inspection inspecting and testing performed in accordance with landfill permit.
5 Closure report will be sufficient to allow cancellation of mining permit by DBMS.
6 Excavation and grading in Area 2 limited to restoration of existing drainage patterns sufficient to allow
revegetation.
Revegetation will be performed consistent with Douglas County Grading, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
Standard Notes (Figure F-2).
8 Total Reclamation Cost will be adjusted downward as portions of the Area 1 landfill are lined and brought into
service for waste disposal.
