SSR Mining Inc. PAGE 5/7
~1,180,000 sq. ft. of 80-mil LLDPE geomembrane were placed within the VLF2 Phase 3 Stage B.1
area. It is the Division’s understanding that SLF and geomembrane were placed across the whole
of the Stage B.1 area and that all areas of SLF were accompanied by a quality check and
corresponding Acceptance Form. Please clarify why square footage measurements from SLF
acceptance forms do not equal the amount of geomembrane placed in the Stage B.1 area.

R/. All installed geomembrane had SLF placed underneath. NewFields will only approve SLF as
geomembrane Panels are deployed, not before. The square footage quantities from the SLF acceptance
forms are daily hand measured reporting. During audits of the hand measured quantities sometimes
corrections are made to the square footages when mistakes are found. Measuring by hand (measuring
wheel) generally results in a 5% to 10% overage of actual square footage surveyed due to the only
generally flat surface of the liner. The installed 80-mil LLDPE quantity is based on surveyed panel
intersections, tie-in points and RoC Drawing No. 3. The addition of the square footage from the 7/9/25
Soil Liner Fill approval form brings the total square footage inline with what difference is generally
expected in the hand measured/survey measured square footage comparison.

17. Appendix G.3 - Drain Cover Fill (Ore) Laboratory Test Results: The lab results sample printout
for DCFO-1-C has a range of 47-100 for the .75” grain size while the specification has a range of
40-100. Please explain the discrepancy and correct any errors.

R/. NewFields current software, Geosystems, provides specification envelopes on the Particle Size
Distribution Report Curves, the envelope shading does not properly show the material specification. The
envelopes were not utilized for the Record of Construction Report to avoid confusion. To show the
Specification Range and passing results on the Particle Size Distribution Reports, the reports were
converted to PDF format than edited to add the Specification Range and the PASS or FAIL text. Appendix
G.3 has been corrected as part of the amended report.

18. Appendix I - 80-mil Geomembrane Installation Summaries: Besides Appendix I.8 - 80-mil
Geomembrane Acceptance Forms, Appendix I and the sub-appendices do not contain fly sheets
between each section. Please resubmit Appendix I with the appropriate fly sheets and, if
electronically, the PDF bookmarks for each section.

R/. Individual fly sheets have been added to Appendix I as part of the amended report.

19. Appendix I.4 - Extrusion Weld Summary: Please explain why no destructive samples were
collected on June 25th and July 23rd as according to the specifications, a destructive sample is
supposed to be collected 1/500 feet of welding or 1 sample collected per day.

R/. The explanation for no destructive samples on June 25th and July 23rd was provided as part of the
Project Deviations section of the Stage B.1 Record of Construction Report. A similar Project Deviation
explanation was provided and accepted in the certified VLF2 Phase 3 Stage A.2 Record of Construction
report.
For all the previous items, the Revised Report table of contents and body have the revised sections
highlighted in yellow for easy reference, see Attachment 1.
Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact Jorge Ricaurte at 719-701-6837
or Jorge.Ricaurte@ccvmining.com, or myself at Antonio.Matarrese@ccvmining.com.

Docusign Envelope ID: C6AD8C9C-B5B3-4338-ADF1-222396BA57C7
