Engineering Evaluation Report <br /> 291 Pit, Salida, Colorado <br /> November 2025 <br /> This pit is currently not used for mining and there are no intentions to mine the site in the future. <br /> It is used for storage by an excavation company. This company has stockpiled soil and rock <br /> materials that are kept near the center of the site. Therefore, there are no adverse impacts to <br /> the Fragmani residence, the Xcel overhead power line or Colorado State Highway 291 resulting <br /> from the storage activities. <br /> Conclusion <br /> The 291 Pit is not being used for mining, only for storage of soils and rock materials near the <br /> center of the site by an excavation company. Therefore,there are no resulting adverse effects on <br /> the single-family residence at the northwest corner of the site or the overhead power line <br /> through the site. <br /> 2 <br />
