1,2 Legal Description
<br /> The permit area is located in the following sections (6th Principal Meridian):
<br /> • Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28, 29, and 30, Township
<br /> 3 North, Range 93 West;
<br /> • Sections 7, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34,
<br /> Township 4 North, Range 93 West;
<br /> • Sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, and 23, Township 3 North, Range 94 West;
<br /> • Sections 12, 13, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35, and 36., Township 4 North, Range 94 West.

<br /> 2. Proposed Decision
<br /> The Division proposes to approve this application for revision (PR-05) of a valid, existing
<br /> permit (C-1981-019) to conduct surface mining and reclamation activities in Colorado.
<br /> Prior to PR-05, 23 stipulations were added to the Colowyo permit during previous approvals; As
<br /> of the submission of PR5, all 23 prior stipulations have been complied with and/or terminated.
<br /> With PR-05, no additional stipulations were added.
<br /> Zero stipulations remain as part of the Colowyo Permit.
<br /> This Decision is based on a finding that the operations will comply with all requirements of the
<br /> Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq., and the Rules
<br /> promulgated pursuant to the Act. Public notice of this proposed Decision will be published for
<br /> two consecutive weeks in the Craig Daily Press. If no request for a formal hearing is made
<br /> within thirty (30)days of the first publication of the public notice of this proposed Decision, then
<br /> this Decision becomes final. The Division has calculated the amount of the reclamation bond to
<br /> be posted as a result of PR-05. There is no change in the required financial warranty as a result
<br /> of PR-05. The Application and all supporting documentation and any stipulations or conditions
<br /> will become a binding part of the permit.
