The pond is a permanent feature and was holding water during the inspection. A <br />steady stream of clear water was discharging from the culvert below the dam (Photo 3). The emergency <br />spillway was dry and vegetation does not impede flow and no erosion pathways were noted. Evidence of <br />cattle grazing around the pond was observed. <br />SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE- Rule 4.12 <br /> At the time of inspection no evidence of recent movement on the slope was observed and historic slide <br />areas appeared stable and well vegetated. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: The remaining portion of the affected area within the permit <br />boundary is under consideration for final Phase III bond release (SL8). Dense vegetation was observed in these <br />areas during this inspection and no problems were noted. <br /> The area around and above Pond 6 is well vegetated and stable.
