London Mountain Clean Up
July 2025 E-1

Exhibit E Reclamation Plan
The reclamation work at the London Mountain Clean Up will be applied to each waste pile disturbed.
Map F-1 shows a standardized view of a waste pile in reclaimed conditions. Annual reports to CDRMS
will list the areas reclaimed in the prior year, ensuring that the 20-acre limit of disturbed waste piles is
not exceeded. Exhibit T Section 1.1.1. details measures taken to preserve vegetation and topsoil for the
London Mountain Cleanup. This reclamation plan expands upon that of the approved London Mine
110D, which can be found in Exhibit D of Appendix 1. The associated reclamation maps for the 110D
can be found in Exhibit E of that same document. The London Mine 110D area retains all current
mining plans without alteration through this application, as documented in Appendix 1.
1. Reclamation Plan
All reclamation at the London Mountain Clean Up will be to achieve stable slopes and site conditions for
the post mine land use of alpine rangeland or bare rock. Final slopes will be no steeper than what
surrounding topography can allow. Typically slopes will be 1.5H:1V or shallower. All stormwater and
sediment controls will remain in place until revegetation is successful. Topsoil placement and
revegetation will vary depending on the mining environment. Fertilizer may be applied to vegetated
areas depending on reclaimed soil conditions. The type, quantity, and schedule of application of
fertilizer will be determined in conjunction with the US Forest Service.
Any roads built to access waste piles will be reclaimed according to the mining environment that the
access road is in. No structures will be installed as part of mining, so none will need to be removed
during reclamation.
Each mining environments reclamation plan is discussed in more detail below.

Topsoil disturbed areas with either stockpiled topsoil from local stripping, or cap with crushed NPAF
material processed at the London Mine 110D to an average depth of four inches. Scarify the soil prior
to seeding. Revegetate with the Alpine seed mix, as described in Table E-1. Drill seed if possible,
broadcast at two times the drill rate if broadcast seeding is required.

Cap with crushed NPAF material processed at the London Mine 110D to an average depth of four
inches. No revegetation will occur on these areas.

Topsoil disturbed areas with either stockpiled topsoil from local stripping, or leave bare to match
surrounding bare rock conditions. If topsoiled, revegetate with the Alpine seed mix, as described in
Table E-1. Drill seed if possible, broadcast at two times the drill rate if broadcast seeding is required.
