According to this analysis it was determined that fifty percent <br /> (50%) of the total return flow accrues to the Uncompahgre River as surface return flow <br /> within the same month as the diversion and fifty percent (50%) accrues to the Uncompahgre <br /> River as groundwater return flow. The timing of the groundwater return flows was lagged to <br /> the Uncompahgre River using the Glover method with the following aquifer parameters: T = <br /> 50,000 gpd/ft, SY = 0.15, X = 2,000 feet, and W = 5,000 feet. <br /> After applying the 2.5 shares of Ouray Ditch water and accounting for owed return flows in <br /> replacing the out-of-priority lagged depletions, there will be 11.8 acre-feet of out-of-priority <br /> depletions remaining (Table 3, column 14). <br /> Tri-County Water <br /> The additional proposed source of replacement water for this pit during the irrigation season <br /> is water leased from the Tri-County Water Conservancy District (Tri-County). Up to 6.0 <br /> acre-feet/year of fully consumable water from Ridgway Reservoir will be used to supplement <br /> the consumptive use credits for the months of April and September (leases attached). A <br /> 1.65% transit loss will be applied to all deliveries from Ridgway Reservoir, subject to <br /> assessment and modification by the Division Engineer. This release is shown on attached <br /> Table 4. <br /> Blue Mesa Water <br /> The proposed source of replacement water for this pit during the non-irrigation season of <br /> November through March is fully consumable water released from Blue Mesa Reservoir by the <br /> U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The Applicant has two contracts (attached) for Blue Mesa water, <br /> one for 5.0 acre-feet and another for 13.0 acre-feet. An 8.9% transit loss will be applied to <br /> all deliveries from Blue Mesa Reservoir, subject to assessment and modification by the <br /> Division Engineer. This release is shown on attached Table 4. <br />
