Natural Soda LLC 2023 Project Status Report & Annual Plan of Development <br /> 16 January 2024 <br /> <br />4.1.4. Wells Associated with the NS Project (Confidential) <br />The following well-field related activities occurred in 2023: Refer Figure 3 & Figure 4 <br />Plant and Well Location Map. <br />• NS began the Rock School Lease P&A project on May 10, 2023 with video log <br />inspections of the 7 wells involved in the project. May 25 through 26, 2023, <br />Himes Drilling Company (Himes) mobilized a pulling unit to the location and <br />began removing various equipment from the wells. On June 18, 2023, Himes <br />rigged up their drilling rig over the first well and began operations. <br /> MWA-2 Well P&A began June 19 and was completed July 13. <br /> MWB-2 Well P&A started June 19 and was completed July 6. <br /> MWU-2 Well P&A began June 22 and was completed June 22. <br /> AM-2 Well P&A was started and completed on July 17. <br /> MWD-2 Well P&A began July 17 and was completed July 18. <br /> MWD-1 Well P&A started July 20 and was completed July 21. <br /> RS-96-20-1 P&A began July 21 and was completed July 24. <br />o On July 24, 2023 Himes completed the Rock School Lease P&A project. All 7 <br />wells involved in this project will have their casing cut off below ground level, a <br />casing cap and identification placard will be welded onto the casing. The wells <br />will all be buried at the same time when the well pads undergo reclamation work <br />in spring or summer of 2024. <br />• During July and August 2023 NS built a new 3 acre well pad “18H-1V” near the <br />southern portion of the lease where the proposed 18H, 19H, and 20H-1V slant <br />production wells will be drilled and completed. The dirt work and gravel <br />operations were completed by Moody Services. <br />• A new 1,600 foot 18H-1V access road was built by Moody services in July and <br />August 2023 to connect the new 18H-1V location to an existing access road to <br />the north of the pad. <br />• A new pipeline was constructed in fall of 2023 on the 18H-1V access road that <br />will connect the existing pipeline infrastructure to the new feed from the <br />proposed 18H/19H/20H-1V wells. <br />• A 2 acre southern extension of the existing 15H-17H West location was built <br />and graveled in July and August 2023. The proposed 18H-IR-W and 19H-IR-W <br />production wells will be drilled and completed on this location. <br />• NS conducted discrete zone water sampling of the DS-3, DS-6, DS-7 and DS- <br />10 wells for annual water quality analysis on June 20, 2023. <br />• P&A operations occurred on the 17H-I production well between August 7 <br />through the August 11, 2023. The casing was cut below ground level and a <br />final P&A marker was installed in October, 2023.
