2
WEIR
Rock LLC.
Spec aggregates
1850 E. 1st. street, Craig, CO 81625
Phone & Fax (970) 824-2709
WagnerCorpColo@aol.com
Remaining stockpiled material currently stored outside of the excavation are
marketable aggregates and will be sold.
In conclusion, the fill as estimated by the division far exceeds the required
need for the current reclamation plan, the use of a CAT D-9 exceeds the
mechanical needs for reclamation, a CAT D-6T is more than enough at less
than 40 hours. There is no expectation, according to the mining plan to
backfill the pit. The scale house will not be demolished! It is a mobile office
trailer and the scales are portable scales requiring little removal effort. No
ripping is necessary of stockpile areas as all material is loose and
uncompacted. A CAT D-6T is capable of transferring the material. At this
time the disturbance does not exceed 4 acres. Revegitation and topsoiling
unit cost should be adjusted down.
Note; Since the date of this report, no additional disturbance has occurred
and the foot print remains unchanged.
We respectfully request that the division reassess its survey of the site,
reclamation costs and revalue the bonding amount appropriately. I request a
personal meeting with the division on site to conclude this matter.
Respectfully,
Jay Wagner
