30 July 2025 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE – Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge <br />Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring <br />4.05.13; Drainage- Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream <br />Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br />Pond banks appeared stable and vegetated. Spillways appeared in good repair and clear at the <br />time of inspection. Flumes were clear and functioning appropriately. Ponds visited comprised <br />ponds 6, 16, and 17 all ponds held water. <br />o Pond 6 was discharging clear water. The flume and the emergency spillway were in good <br />repair and functioning adequately. <br />o Pond 16 held clear water at the time of inspection. The pond was discharging. <br />o Pond 17 appeared turbid at the time of inspection. The flume and the emergency <br />spillway were in good repair and functioning properly at the time of inspection. <br />o Stock ponds held water that appeared turbid at the time of inspection. <br /> <br />SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE- Rule 4.12 <br />o The two slumps and associated crack between them at Pond 6 were documented. <br />o No new movement was noted at the time of inspection. <br />o Slumps exhibit vegetation growth. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 <br />General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 <br />o Revegetated areas of reclamation appear stable with vigorous growth. <br />o Vegetation appeared diverse, and some grasses were beginning to appear dry. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE– RULE 4.18 <br />Wildlife sightings included hawks, waterfowl on the ponds and deer. <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />None <br /> <br />INSPECTIONS 5.02; Availability of Records <br />Records were not inspected as this was a partial inspection. <br /> <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
