JJ COLLECTING PROJECT#2(REDEMPTION)
Hard rock/metal mining
Limited impact operation (110(1)
Reclamation permit application
6.3.6 EXHIBIT F— 6.3.12 EXHIBIT L
6.3.6 EXHIBIT F—List of Other Permits and Licenses
Colorado State Historical Preservation office
This office will be automatically notified by DRMS when this application is submitted.
This office will provide comments at that time.
Based on previous correspondence with the Office of Archeology and Historic
Preservation, the requirements under CRS 24-80 part 13 apply and must be
followed if human remains are discovered. We acknowledge this rule and will
comply if human remains are discovered as the result of our mining activities.
Colorado Division of Water Resources
This office will be automatically notified by DRMS when this application is submitted.
This office will provide comments at that time. Nothing extra needed at this time.
Based on previous correspondence with the Office Colorado Division of Water
Resources, I will follow their recommendations and have incorporated them into
our mining plan (see Exhibit C 6.3.3 (1) (h). As such, we commit to exposing no
groundwater during mining operations. We also commit to only use water from a
legal source if water is needed for minor dust control or fire prevention. We will
document the acquisition of any water for the above stated purposes. If any
stormwater runoff is intercepted by the operation and is not diverted or captured in
priority, we commit to releasing the water into the nearest stream system within 72
hours.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Dept. of Natural Resources
In a previous correspondence with the office of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the
following suggestions and recommendations were made:
"CPW suggests care be taken during mining to avoid excess erosion or
disturbance of more land than necessary to accomplish the project. We also
suggest the area be reasonably reclaimed following mining. We recommend
reusing the original top soil that is removed from the surface by placing it
back in its original location after mining is completed. Once the original top
soil is in place, we recommend planting the disturbed areas with native
vegetation that matches the native vegetation already present in the
surrounding area.
