EXHIBIT D MINING PLAN (cont)
make a soil enhancement product that is then sold to the public.
As mining progresses east, this composting operation will be
moved to an area of the site that does not interfere with mining.
MINING TIMETABLE
The continuing uncertainty of economic conditions in the
construction industry precludes an accurate forecast of demand
during the life of the mine. Therefore, the operator has elected
to estimate a mining timetable based on an average year of
production, and expects a specific year to vary widely from this
average. Clay mining activities are expected to take 10 to 25
years to complete, depending on what is found when the gravel has
been removed; gravel mining is expected to take 8 to 10 years to
complete; sandstone mining is expected to take 10 to 15 years to
complete.
Lakewood Brick and Tile CO Church Pit— M-1979-045
Amendment 02 April 16, 2025
14
