Cross Gold Mine
December 2024 E-3

off-site disposal facility. The areas formerly occupied by the ponds will then be backfilled as necessary
with soil sourced from the pond berms, graded to blend with surrounding natural contours, and
revegetated. No additional topsoil is anticipated for these activities.

The liners from Ponds 1 (2,004 ft²), 2 (8,285 ft²), 3A (1,555 ft²), 3B (1,750 ft²), and 3C (13,835 ft²) will be
removed. Note that liner dimensions exceed pond surface areas because they extend beneath pond
edges and berms. Flow sheds supporting Pond 2 will also be removed, and their footprints reclaimed.
Water lines from the mine portals (Cross Mine Adit and Idaho Tunnel) will remain in place to convey
mine water to the designated discharge point in Coon Track Creek.

Culverts and stream crossings over Coon Track Creek will remain in place. Grand Island Resources
(GIR) will employ plant species listed in Tables E-4, E-5, and E-6 to revegetate disturbed areas
throughout the site. Specifically, land disturbed around Coon Track Creek will be reclaimed using the
native wetland species indicated in Table E-6.

The Cross Caribou Access Road between Cross and Caribou mines will remain. The road slopes will
be revegetated following road construction.
The short two-track road to the Caribou 300 Level Portal from USFS Road 505 will be reclaimed in
accordance with Exhibit E, Sections 1.10 and 1.11. The Caribou Level 300 road will be ripped, tilled,
and regraded prior to revegetation in accordance with Sections 1.10 and 1.11.

Map F-1 shows the areas that will be regraded and reclaimed. This includes reclamation around the
Potosi Shaft once is sealed.
