EXHIBIT L <br /> 6.4.12 EXHIBIT L — Reclamation Costs <br /> (A) Summary <br /> In alignment with the West Side Placer Projects commitment to responsible mining practices and adherence to regulatory <br /> requirements,this section presents a detailed outline of the anticipated costs associated with the reclamation of the mining <br /> site. The estimates provided here are informed by historical data and adjusted for current expectations based on inflation <br /> and updated operational insights. <br /> Historical Context and Cost Estimation Basis <br /> Reclamation costs for the West Side Placer Project are grounded in the estimation work previously conducted by the <br /> Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining,and Safety(DRMS)for Permit No.M-2016-081.As detailed in the support- <br /> ing document"Reclamation Costs Update and Notice of Surety Increase(SI-1)"dated August 29,2019,the initial cost was <br /> estimated at$3,040.82 per acre.With adjustments for inflation and updates in reclamation practices,the cost for 2024 is <br /> projected at$3,953.07 per acre. <br /> Projected Reclamation Activities and Associated Costs <br /> The reclamation plan is designed to ensure comprehensive restoration of the site post-mining operations,with activities <br /> categorized into direct and indirect costs: <br /> Direct Reclamation Costs: <br /> Encompassing the essential ground activities for restoring the physical conditions of the site: <br /> • Borehole Removal <br /> • Plant Foundation Demolition <br /> • Ore and Overburden Replacement <br /> • Grading of Mining Phases <br /> • Topsoil Replacement <br /> • Ripping Compacted Areas <br /> • Seed Mining Phases <br /> Indirect Costs: <br /> Covering administrative and monitoring expenditures critical for overseeing the reclamation process effectively: <br /> • Liability Insurance <br /> • Job Superintendent <br /> • Monitoring Site and Reseeding <br /> Financial Overview <br /> The reclamation process encompasses 14 mining blocks as outlined in Exhibit C Mining Plan,covering a total of 70 acres. <br /> The combined reclamation efforts,reflecting both direct physical restoration and ongoing management and monitoring, <br /> result in a total estimated bonding requirement of$276,714.90. <br /> 85 <br /> HARDROCK/METAL MINING REGULAR(112)APPLICATION Au Pt Industries LLC I PO Box 1424-Edwards,Colorado 81632 1970 306 1 784 <br />
