The inspection was conducted, and the report prepared by me, Robin
Reilley of the DRMS. Michael Howard Seneca Properties Inc. representative and Jim Stark (OSM)
were present throughout the inspection. Various structures and infrastructure are present throughout the
site and some are documented below. No hydrologic or air quality issues were detected at the time of
inspection. The weather was clear. The air was calm, and temperatures hovered around 80 degrees
Fahrenheit.

INSPECTION
MAINTENANCE ITEMS
1. Flume at Pond 2 has been replaced. The flumes contact with the banks at both inflow
and outflow require additional armoring.
2. The ditch receiving spoil spring discharge from the portal area requires deepening.
3. The lining at the top of the smart ditch requires better contact with the soil.
4. The trash rack at the discharge outlet at Pond 2 requires replacement or reattachment.

GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
The site is inactive and not in reclamation. Should the economics of further coal extraction at the
site become beneficial the site could be reactivated. Mining facilities and infrastructure remain
in place. Utilizable equipment from the reclaimed Williams Fork site has been stockpiled at the
site for possible future use. Equipment is stockpiled throughout the site and utilized at the Foidel
Creek site when needed. Currently activities at the site comprise clean up of items that are not
usable, demolition of some small damaged structures.

SIGNS and MARKERS – Rule 4.02
o The mine identification signs were in place at the site entrance. The sign was intact, displaying all
required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone number, DRMS permit number
and contact information.
