The measurement was 75.41 feet from the top of the well <br />casing to the water. <br />During the inspection, the landowner’s riser pipes (Photo 1) and trenches (Photo 2) located within Tract 70 were <br />dry. There was no indication of recent water application. The furthest south riser pipe was observed to have a <br />small leak at the valve (Photo 3). The water flowing from the valve was creating a small puddle at the base of the <br />riser. There were no impacts to SCC’s reclamation was identified. <br />The landowner’s middle field irrigation was observed to be active in the southern portion of the field (Photo 4). <br />No impacts to SCC’s reclamation was occurring. The middle field is located to the south/southeast of Tract 70. <br />No water was observed impounded in the Carey Pit (Photo 5). The trench extending from the landowner’s buried <br />pipeline to the pit was also dry. The Carey Pit is located in the southwest corner of Tract 71 and the Roadside <br />Mine permit area. <br />The landowner’s trenches on the northern and northeastern portions of Tract 71 were dry during the inspection. <br />There was no indication of recent water application into the trenches (Photo 6). No impacts were observed to the <br />TR-69 Repair Area. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> <br />The TR-69 Repair area is located in the southwestern section of the permit area and is located in the northern part <br />of Tract 71. The reclamation was stable with vegetative cover (Photos 7 and 8). Most of the vegetation has dried <br />out over the course of the summer. There were no indications of erosional features and no differential settling was <br />observed. The straw waddles places on the western, down-gradient boundary of the TR-69 Repair Area were in <br />good repair. No off site impacts were observed. The disturbance footprint was marked by a wire fence. The <br />fence was in good condition during the inspection. A mine identification sign was observed posted on the <br />southern portion of the fence. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> <br />Mine identification signs were observed posted on the entrances to the permit boundary and at the TR-69 Repair <br />area. The signs were posted in easy to spot locations. The signs were in good condition and legible. Information <br />posted on the signs contained contact information for the permittee and the Division. The CDRMS permit number <br />and operator’s address were also posted on the signs.
